I provide Sex Therapy and Psychotherapy; these can be provided as an individual or relationship.


‍Psychotherapy:  It is the process of examining and exploring yourself to develop new strategies to deal with life's challenges

‍Sex Therapy: Our sexuality is an essential part of our being; our goal is to help you live and enjoy your sexuality to the fullest. Sex therapy is the process of exploring emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual blockages that interfere with our sexual lives. This process is accomplished through the use of "talk therapy" incorporating different modalities of sex therapy that will be tailored to your needs as an individual, couple, or other relationship. We are a Kink and polyamory welcoming practice.

Throughout the sex therapy process, we will go over detailed information as well as discuss your sexual history. In your initial session we will also ask you questions about your health, sleeping and eating habits, family history, childhood, and hobbies. For your sexual story, we will explore all your experiences that have shaped your thoughts and beliefs about sex and sexuality.

WORKSHOPS
I provide learning activities that promote practical skills.

In these learning activities different topics are discussed, such as healing for women due to gender violence or sexual violence, mental health and sexuality, and others. The focus of these workshops is to create safe spaces where the clients can share their experiences to heal. Workshops can be customized according to the themes or subjects proposed by the client.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION AND
SEX THERAPY SUPERVISION
I view supervision as a collaborative effort. I provide individual and group supervision from a holistic and intersectional lens for clinicians who are looking to obtain licensure in Maryland,  who want to become AASECT Certified Sex Therapists, or to colleagues in the field who want to expand their knowledge.

-Licensed Clinical Supervisor in the State of Maryland for Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPC)
-Clinical consultations to other clinicians

RETREATS
Sexuality retreats are held throughout the year. The purpose of these retreats is to reconnect with ourselves and our sacred sexuality through the use of sex therapy interventions and holistic modalities of healing.

What can I expect from our first meeting?

Therapy: You can expect that we will have a conversation about your concerns that have brought you to therapy. Please plan for a 60-minute session. Review the Intake Form to have an idea of questions that will be discussed. Questions might vary depending on the type of service need.

Do you take insurance?

Medical insurance is not accepted. However, you may be provided with documentation that your insurance provider may require for out-of-network reimbursement. Check with your insurance prior to our scheduled session.

What is your availability?

I have availability Mondays-Saturdays. Other times may be available upon request.

What is your cancellation policy?

The full cost of the session and supervision will be charged for missing a scheduled appointment, or for appointments canceled with less than 48 hour notice, unless due to illness or emergency.
